ABOUT DR. OURIAN
Dr. Ariel Ourian is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, nose, breasts, and body. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Ourian’s academic excellence led him to train at some of the top-ranked institutions in the country. Dr. Ourian completed his undergraduate education at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors. He then attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine, and completed a 5-year residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, a teaching hospital of the acclaimed Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Ourian trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious Houston Methodist Hospital Program in the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. Houston Methodist Hospital is ranked as the #1 hospital in Texas and among the best in the United States according to U.S. News and World Report. While in Houston, a city with a rich history in plastic surgery, Dr. Ourian trained with many well-renowned leaders in the field. He is a proud graduate of the program originally founded by distinguished plastic surgeons, Dr. Thomas Biggs and Dr. Thomas Cronin, both collaborators in the creation of the first silicone gel breast implant in 1962. During this time, Dr. Ourian also trained at Texas Children’s Hospital, the largest children’s hospital in the United States.
